This is mainly a bug fix release. You can find the complete list of changes here. Two new features are a “Show in Explorer/Finder” in the context menu (right click) for all labels with file names. We also changed almost all dialogs to be non modal so you can now open more then one output or project window at the same time. Pano2VR 3.1.0 releasedThursday, August 11th, 2011We are happy to release a new version of Pano2VR. While looking at the features we decided that this justifies a minor release number instead of just a 3.0.1 release. Of course this moved back the planned features for 3.1 to 3.2 as you can see in the updated roadmap. The major new features are WebGL support for the HTML5 output so now Firefox >=4.0 and Chrome >=9.0 are also supported. Another highlight is the built-in web server to simplify local testing. Here is the complete list of the new features:
There have been also a lot of bug fixes. For instance, Flash panoramas work again in Flash 9/CS4. To download this release please visit the Pano2VR download page. Pano2VR 3.0 beta5 releasedThursday, February 17th, 2011We just released a new beta for Pano2VR. This is mainly a bug fix release but also some new features have been added. To download this beta please visit the Pano2VR download page. Pano2VR 3.0 beta4 releasedMonday, January 31st, 2011I am happy to announce a new beta version for Pano2VR. This time we had a really long bug list so it took a while. As I wanted to also fix the Photoshop BigTIFF bug on Mac OS, Adobe confirmed the bug in Photoshop but they have no work around and will not fix it until CS6. So we needed a new solution to import gigapixel images and as Adobe finally published the PSD/PSB format we went with that. Starting with this beta you can load/save PSD/PSB files in Pano2VR. Another new feature in this beta are margins in the Skin. Margins allow you to place skin elements (for example the map) outside of the panorama. Martin was kind enough to produce a tip over the weekend to show margins in action. To see the full list of changes, please go to the change log.
