New Gnome & NYC 2012

Friday, April 20th, 2012

We are very happy to welcome a new gnome to our company! Christoph will help us push the software forward as the list of ideas is getting longer and longer. We are thrilled to have him as part of our team!

Also, we are looking forward to catching up and meeting new people at the IVRPA conference 13-16th June in New York.

Move Complete

Thursday, February 9th, 2012

…almost. We’ve just finished finding our way out of a tangle of packing tape. Just a few more finishing touches to the office and we’re done.

Now, I know most of you who read the previous post were probably quite curious to see the features I mentioned of the new office. I don’t want to keep anyone biting at their nails, so without further ado, the gold accented faucet,

the microwave/convection oven,

and what I know is making you all jealous, the wood burning stove.

Gnome HQ is moving!

Sunday, February 5th, 2012

Tomorrow will begin another Gnome adventure – moving the office!
We have finally outgrown our small, cozy office and will be acquiring a few extra square meters. The new place has all the amenities one could ever want in an office. Things like gold accented faucets, a microwave/convection oven and an enormous brown wood burning stove.
If you’re trying to reach us and we’re not responding as soon as you wish we would, then it’s most likely we’re in the middle of lifting really heavy stuff or untangling ourselves from packing tape.

Epson Pano Awards 2012

Thursday, February 2nd, 2012

Again, we are sponsoring the Epson International Pano Awards which…

…showcases the work of panoramic photographers worldwide and is the largest and most important competition for panoramic photography.

Last year, the Epson International Pano Awards added a category for VR panoramas and this year is no different. If you’re looking for a challenge – being up against the world’s best VR panoramic photographers – we encourage you to participate.

For some inspiration, the 2011 winner in the VR category was Ignacio Ferrando with his impressive documentation of a helicopter rescue training mission in the Pyrenees.

Here is all the information you need to know for entering.

Pano2VR in the Mac App Store

Wednesday, September 7th, 2011

After some back an forth with Apple, Pano2VR is now finally in the Mac App Store!

The current version in the Mac App Store differs from the normal Mac version in regards of file handling and other smaller changes required by Apple. Also the droplet feature is missing. Our plan is to sync the versions with the next minor release.
