I just released Pano2VR 2.3 beta4 which is mainly a bugfix release for beta2 and beta3.

The changes are:

• Sound: External *.mp3 files
• Bugfix: Skin editor could not be launched from the Flash settings page
• Bugfix: Patch Tool ignore the image gamma

• Settings: New option to ignore the Flash tile size limit. Use it at your own risk.
• Bugfix: Skin editor crashed sometimes when launched from the menu
• Bugfix: JPEG Slider was disable in export and convert

The new features are:

• Read/Write OpenEXR and Radiance .HDR files
• Skin: Images can be stored as JPEGs
• Skin: “Start auto rotation” excepts a speed parameter
• Skin editor: Visible and tree state are stored in the Skin file
• Skin editor: Nonmodal dialog from the “Tools” menu, you can keep the skin editor open while recreating the output
• Sound: Better sound handling in tours, background sound keeps playing
• Bugfix Sound: more sample rates should work
• Bugfix: Gamma correction for remapping was disabled, image quality should be improved
• Bugfix Flash API: vr.cleanup() should work again
• Some smaller changes and bug fixes all over

• Hotspot reuse clarified
• Cursor navigation between images in the hotspot editor
• Smoother “Joystick” controller in Flash export
• Bugfix: Preview images for Flash export
