A question on templating?

Hi, I'm playing around with the idea of writing more intelligent templates and I was wondering if all the project setting are available to be queried? I can read the formvalue, output, config input, config userdata but the one I would like access to is config output. I was thinking about a template ...

Re: Trying to externalize a skin

Rob, No your not going mad, I found the very same error last night and was coming on here to report it now. In the skin I embedded a loading image (in PNG format as well) and when I created the SWF file with both the panorama and skin externalized my loading image was embedded in the code without th...

St Mary's Chapel, Sudeley Castle, Gloucestershire.

Here's a couple of HDR panoramas I shot over the weekend. They show the inside of St Mary's Chapel and to the left of the alter in the first panorama you can see the alter tomb of Catherine Parr, the 6th and last wife of King Henry VIII. http://www.panoview.co.uk/examples/sudeley/stmaryschapel1.html...

Re: What is most wanted?

My "something else" is plugins. If there was some way that Pano2VR could be extended by others it could take some of the development pressure off Thomas.

Re: spherical panorama

Dreamer, If by spherical panoramic format you mean a panorama that you can pan all the way round on as well as looking up and down then Pano2VR already supports this. It is referred to as cubic panoramas, the panoramic community swapped over to using this instead of a spherical model due to possible...

Re: Panoramas on the Wii

Thats good news too on WM6.5. I've been putting off flashing the ROM in my HTC Touch HD for a while now, but that could be the reason to get on and do it.

Panoramas on the Wii

As Nintendo have now been good enough to make the Opera browser now available for free, I thought I would install it on my console for a look. Well on top of getting a version of Opera 9.5 it now comes with Adobe Flash Lite 3.1 which contains a full implementation of Flash 8 with certain features of...

Re: Target date for sound in Pano2VR

Thomas,

The test works great, I just can't wait to have a play myself. It's great fun trying to find where you have embeded sounds into the panorama (look out for the laughing below you).

Another sighting of Pano2VR being used

Looks like 360spin.co.uk have been busy around this years RHS Chelsea Flower Show. They have shot a number of panoramas showing the gardens that have been created and more importantly they have used Pano2VR to show these views. Here's a link to just one of the panoramas, but if you look around the s...

Re: Pano 2 DVD or Video

Hi, The two different files that you are talking about are one and the same. A Quicktime mov file is just a container that can contain many different formats, from straight movies through to "Virtual Reality" panoramas. You should just take the Quicktime file that Pano2VR creates and give ...

Re: Alternative Mouse Control

Thomas,

I can see that there are plenty of other things on your Pano2VR development horizon at the moment but I was wondering if this alternative control method was anywhere near that horizon too?

Thanks,

Bob.

Re: posting qtvrs on facebook

Brian, It is possible to put interactive panorama onto Facebook by using the Flash Embed application. Unfortunately It is not possible to have the panorama loaded automatically (due to Facebook security restrictions I believe), but what you end up with is a image that has to be clicked for the flash...
