Re: gyroscope on windows phone
It is the same. But it looks like you do not have gyroscope enabled, do you? The zooming doesn´t work using gestures, though. As in my tests. It seems in windows8 (windowsPhone8) the finger input is only used as left mouse click enabling the normal movement (I also see the small icon as in the deskt...

gyroscope on windows phone
Hello, I just tested a hmtl5/CSS3 panorama with several devices and found out that the gyroscope on the windows phone does not work. At least not for me (using an Nokia Lumia 920). Zooming on windows8 devices with the two fingers as on apple or android devices also doesn´t seem to work. Does anybody...

different view when using hotspots to link panos in QT
hi, when i setup panos that are linked together via hotspots i used to be able to setup new view parameters in pano2VR. maybe it was not intended to work but it did. in the hotspot menu i put something like this: <pano1mov> T<myself> E<pan=290.0 tilt=0.0 fov=70.0> normally you only would use the nam...

logo on QTVR
hi thomas, i know quicktime supports layers to be placed over the panorama (like a logo), but right now the windows version of quicktime Pro does not do it, only the mac OS version. (which i don´t have) would it be possible for you to implement this for the QTVR output of panorams like seen in the s...

Re: optimal cube face size
wow, dave thanks for the long reply, unfortunatly yes, i knew almost all of this, but thanks anyway. what i need to know about is what size i have to render my image (on a 3d app - c4d in my case) to have best image quality (on starting FoV and when zooming in) in my pano. now when i use Pano2VR and...

Re: optimal cube face size
thanks dave but maybe it is not clear what my question is. file size is not the problem here as i am doing offline presentations. let´s assume i have a fixed window size of 1024x768. for a start FoV of 70 the optimal cube face size would be 1096px. the qestion is would a bigger cube face size give w...

optimal cube face size
hi, i want to make a pano with really good settings for offline presentation. the user should be able to zoom in quite a bit with still keeping much image quality. the start FoV would be 70, but as said zooming in should give good results. when i use higher cube face sizes as the optimal value would...

Re: autoaction after quicktime finished playing
sorry can´t see any film and VR combinations in there.
i don´t need an embedded video. i only want to run a video with quicktime player - or maybe other player and then run the VR automatically.

autoaction after quicktime finished playing
hi, i know this is a little offtopic, but can anybody advice me if and when how it is possible to perfom an action after quicktime has finished to play a film. background: i want to play a film before the player automatically loads the quicktime VR. so the action would be to load a new quicktime.mov...

Re: object movies
thanks for the reply Thomas.
this sounds like it is going to be a seperate software and not going to be integrated into Pano2VR as it is with Pano2QTVR Pro ?
never mind i just want to know how it is planned.
