Re: Multirow ObjectVR - but how?
It looks like he built it himself which is probably the best option. Kaidan sells different units for doing multi row object VRs. The lower end product Magellan 2000 sells for $4,339 USD on the web site. You need to have a steady stream of larger corporate clients to be able to pay for this machine....

Re: Does anyone else have examples to show
The following Gigapan Systems Beta Unit is my second attempt at a VR object. The object has the following problems. 1. Object is not orthogonal to normal from zx plane 2. Lower right hand side has background inconsistencies 3. Brushed metal bracket not in focus. 4. The 36th image of 36 images is mis...

Re: Pano2VR 2.2 beta released
You should look at the H2 Zoom recorder which has two cardoid microphones built in and can record up to 4 channels. It is relatively inexpensive, small, and writes to an SD flash memory card. You can easily put it in your camera bag and it is sold with a small plastic base that you can screw into th...

Re: How to loop mp3 player to repeat sound files
You can get the current position in the sound stream using the flash.media.SoundChannel class. The sound object's play method may have more than one SoundChannel object. You could have the sound of a creek as one SoundChannel object and a guitar as another SoundChannel object instance and the two ar...

Re: How to loop mp3 player to repeat sound files
The sound is buffered for 3000 = 3 seconds. The song plays from an offset in time of 0seconds initially and repeats 4 times. You could accept parameters from the gui such as how many seconds to buffer and how many times to repeat the loop. You could provide default behavior. package { import flash.d...

Patch tool will not apply patch at times
When I first started using the patch tool to patch the pano head from the nadir I did not have problems. For some reason now pano2VR is not applying the patch to the image and I am not able to get it to accept the old patch that I may have spent two hours on cloning, healing, etc. This has happened ...

Re: Settings to improve "soft" panos
1. Focus manually. I use x10 liveview and manually focus 2. Flip up the mirror and wait before triggering the camera with a wireless shutter release. 3. Don't use too small of an aperture because you will start experiencing diffraction losses. 4. Color casts will make your image seem unsharp. Set yo...

Re: Antialiasing for Buttons
Are you starting with a vector object or a raster object. Are you using illustrator, Fireworks, or Photoshop, Flash? If you are starting off with a raster image (bitmap, not vector), work at a larger size and save copies of this raster image with smaller dimensions using resampling. (resampling is t...

paste the script just before your ending </body> tag in your html. You would do the same thing for the Google analytics traffic analysis scripts.

Re: Virtual Tour with hotspots
Nice tour. How are you patching your nadir shots? Are you using a hand held shot to patch it / or are you masking an adjacent floor piece / Or just plain old clone stamp and heal? They look good. I was talking to texas360 about the fact that you can take existing pdf files that they may have and out...

Re: pano2vr movie degrades flash host movie graphics
My posts are diverging away from pano2vr software, but are prerequisites to possessing material to input to pano2vr. I am going to refrain from going further off topic. You want to use a wide angle lens to work efficiently. A focal length of 50mm would give you less distortion, but creates more work...
