Hi Alois,
yes, unfortunately Safari developer tools don't offer a full browser/device emulation and often testing with such tools is not helpful and can be misleading.

Re: HTML5 fullscreen and fallback to flash
Hi all, here attached is another fullscreen html5 with swf fallback .ggt template. Tested and working on all the major browsers and systems and on iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone (Safari). Based on the work by Thomas and Arturo Nahum, I modified it where needed. Thanks to Peter Nyfeler for his tests on ...

Thanks,
I'll tell you that it's all based on showing/hiding and scaling nested images and elements.
Best,
Hans

Re: Venice, St. Mark's Square Virtual Tour (Piazza San Marco)
Than you for showing us this, it has brought back some wonderful memories. Two years ago I drove to Italy, taking in Pisa, Rome, Venice and the finally Lake Garda. It was a fantastic holiday which has all come flooding back looking at your panorama, thank you. Hopki :) Hi Hopki, I'm happy I haven't...

Venice, St. Mark's Square Virtual Tour (Piazza San Marco)
Four 360° photos, HDR (7-5 exposures). Shooting height: 3.80 metres. Hotspots open details and picture galleries of historic buildings, cafés, art galleries and jewelries on the Square. A map and a compass as additional navigation tools. http://www.hvweb.net/en/360photos/venice/stmarkssquare/ (makin...

Passing placeholders and actions from hotspots to buttons
Hi, it is possible to use hotspots as proxies, but does P2VR allow using buttons (not hotspots) as proxies for actions defined in hotspots? I made some tests and the answer would seem to be NO, but I would be happy to be wrong. For example, it could be helpful in order to dynamically use placeholder...

Flash Glow/Shadow effects on text
Hi Thomas,
It would be nice to be able to apply glow or shadow effects to texts and to their boxes directly from the skin editor, without having to create custom text images to get these effects, which is time consuming, especially for large tours (e.g. hotspot + alt text).
Thanks,
Hans

Re: High/low resolution switch/toggle button?
Thanks Thomas, for having shared this smart thing (!), but what I understand is that your trick would be fine if I would need a hotspot, but I would like a button object which is referring to the current panorama (or, better, to an ID which is shared by a couple of hq/lq panoramas), not to a specifi...

Re: Cache Load Time Lapse - Flash Output
Thanks Thomas, that's exactly what I've already done with a tour running locally. With a longer download time i prefer having more tiles for the first download, in order to encourage the users to wait. I get the "problem" (background color showing for 1-2 seconds) on both Vista 64 bit and ...

Cache Load Time Lapse - Flash Output
I noticed that on a vtour, browsing from one pano to the other, when you get back to a previously loaded pano, you don't see instantly what is in the cache, but you get the gray scale preview tiles once again. If you disable the preview, you'll get the background color for 1-2 seconds before you can...

High/low resolution switch/toggle button?
Hi Thomas, is there a simple way to make a button that switches high/low res versions? Isn't a sort of pano id needed? I could do that easily if I had only one panorama, using "open next panorama", switching the visibility of the two resolution buttons (one calling the high res pano from t...
