Re: html5 skin

Sorry, people doing just that in forums drives me mad... I hope this makes sense (non-expert, but works for me. My problem was Fasthosts can't deal with SVGs): The revelation was to realise that skin.js is not just some javascript that you include, but that it contains the names of the images that a...

Re: html5 skin

Hopki,
Sorry, ignore post above: I've worked it out.
Thanks for your help.

Re: html5 skin

Hi Hopki,
Do any of the standard controls NOT use SVGs? As Fasthosts are being slow to reinstate their support for SVGs, I though it would be easy to change to non-scalable graphics, but the ones I have tried also use SVGs.

Regards,

Brian

Re: html5 skin

Hi Hopki, Thank you very much for taking the trouble to sort this out. I really am most grateful, and I now have some ammunition to fire at Fasthosts, to persuade them to revert back to the original (correct) arrangement. Wonder why they changed! If all else fails I shall have to redo everything usi...

Re: html5 skin

Hi Hopki, Files attached, simplified: I selected a small one. I seem to have got my button images in two places, but I have put the attached folder on my server, and the skin images are missing on my iPad. The iPad Debug console reports no errors despite this. The Error section of the Web Inspector ...

Re: html5 skin

Hi Hopki,
Sorry, not sure how I do that: do I zip it and upload it as an attachment?

Re: html5 skin

Hi Thomas, I have what looks like the same problem, but with a different cause. I'm using the Simplex skin, which has worked perfectly until recently on iPod, iPad, and on my iMac both locally and on my web site: now the buttons appear as generic 'missing images' question marks on iDevices (but appe...

Re: html5/css3: Resolution settings for i-pad / i-phone ?

anahum: They do look great, but for me the URL bar is still visible. When I look at them with an iPod Touch or an iPad, I can still see at the top of the screen the black bar with the time, battery, wifi, and below that the URL bar with Safari's tools. I've got that far myself, some examples here: h...

Re: html5/css3: Resolution settings for i-pad / i-phone ?

Thanks, Well at least I now know iPad visitors to my site will see, and that there is no way around that (yet). For my own use, another way I found was to import all the files for each panorama into GoodReader, and view the html file that way, which DOES show the whole thing, without the URL bar. Ma...

Re: html5/css3: Resolution settings for i-pad / i-phone ?

Hi, I get 1600 tile size with my iPad. The pano opens "full screen" (not strictly full screen because the url and favourites bar are still visible) and the fullscreen button does nothing. My own qtvrs open in a smaller size, and the fullscreen button toggles "fullscreen". I can't...
