Documenting hotspot data
I'm building a few tours, and I've found that I've started adding hotspots without documenting them, so I have to open the project file and then find the hotspot and the associated data. I then realise that this is of course in the .p2vr file, in an xml format. To make this easier, I've written an x...

Still waiting in the UK...
But Happy New Year to all you Pano2VR users.
Tonight I'm planning to enjoy myself and NOT take any panoramas, or even any pictures at all ....

Re: House tour
Thanks for the kind words. The photography was harder then the skin! The Thumbnail part is actually purchased, so I can't upload it for everyone - though check out http://www.hopkimedia.co.uk/ggs.html . The Buttons are derived from http://gardengnomesoftware.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=5066 -...

Re: House tour
However, the tour above now has a new set of custom cursors - though I'm planning to change them a bit to be more consistent. Now I've done it few times it's quite easy. For me the key actions when creating the photoshop file are to place the new cursor file (assuming you're using some stock icons o...

Re: House tour
Thanks Hopki,
I'll try that. Trying to create a custom cursor at present!
In the documentation is says you have to produce a file with an alpha channel. But it doesn't say exactly what format! I can try a few, but knowing what type might save me a few hours

Re: House tour
OK - thanks Jean. Dust is long gone - but I guess I could clone it out. Thumbnails were Hokpi's, but implemented beautifully :D My house is the mirror image of this one - but the owners had tidied up before going on holiday - so a great place to practise! Ours is really untidy (lots of photo gear ly...

House tour
I'd appreciate some comments in this tour. It's fairly simple (one of the first I produced that was muti-scene). http://smart-pictures.co.uk/virtual-tours/house-interior-tour However, I don't think it looks realistic - should I change the FOV? Also I've started to produce my 360VR using a window siz...

I love the custom cursors - I didn't realise you can do that.

Need to spend spend some time working on this now - makes it much more intuitive!

Re: HTML5 fullscreen and fallback to flash
Thanks for this, and thanks Arturo as well
I haven't had time to experiment with this today, but will try to look at it over the weekend (in between taking pictures!)
regards
Gareth

HTML5 fullscreen and fallback to flash
I've got the fullscreen.ggt file from Hopki. I've also got the html file from Thomas that has the modenizer browser detect code. So the two pieces allowing me to make a browser independent pano exist. But, has anyone yet sucessfully combined them and is willing to share that (even better a .ggt file...

Re: Not quite sure how this works
Sorry, another query. I've just looked at the park_tour_swf.ggsk and I still don't get the Vimeo hotspot The Vimeo hotspot template has Source:mouse click/action:set text/ long vimeo string /Target:video I don't think this is right - as I can't find a target called video in the skin file. I would ha...

Re: Not quite sure how this works
OK - I understand now - but still need to make some more changes in my skin to get it working correctly. The oauth_key, The Consumer Key that is associated with your api application Can I (or we the community) use the same key, or do I need to get my own? ie is it a pano2VR key or just Thomas's Fina...

Re: My first map
Nice - this is the next thing on my list. Can I make a suggestion - that for the info panel you put a cross or some icon on it, and add a click event to the whole image to hide it. I spent ages (10 secs!) trying to get rid of the info panel till I realised I had to click the info button again. Gareth

Thanks Thomas,
Always nice to get an example to play with. I confess I'm not sure I understand this yet but will try to get it working with my application
