p2q_embed_object.js to be put where?
I have a few small multiresolution panoramas here http://www.panoramas.no/rog/kvitsoy/kirkenute/kirkenute.html I have enclosed the p2q_embed_object.js file in every directory on the web server (I have one for each pano). However, on a PC I do get a message at the bottom of each pano stating that it ...

Re: White tiles as I zoom in
I have totally remade the whole panorama, with more than ample number of tile levels (1,5Gb), but the problem persists. I had to move the pano to this location :

Stretched gigapix panorama
As you can see in this panorama, it has been scaled horisontally, approx 200%. http://www.panoramas.no/rog/kvitsoy/radar_zoom/index.html It may be caused by my webpage application (Freeway), or could P2VR be the problem (or me :-) ? The tiles are not stretched. I am at a loss with this, any help is ...

White tiles as I zoom in
When I zoom into this gigapan picture, the picture-tiles get all white. Strange. http://www.panoramas.no/rog/kvitsoy/radar_zoom/index.html The picture is 200280x40000 with quite a lot of white space above the pano (it is white above approx. 18000p as I need to have the horizon centered vertically.)....

Re: Metal Skin, take 2
There may have been an issue with the P2V file I used to test the skins. Starting all over seemed to resolve the problem.

Re: Metal Skin, take 2
I can´t figure this out. I select a readymade skin, save it with a new name, closes and opens it again, and voilá - and all the graphics are gone. Very frustrating. Are the skins write protected or am I doing something wrong? Mac OSX 10.6.5. I have tried several P2V versions and several skins from d...

Both works fine as intended, and the pulsation is just as visible even then.Zoom in and out using skin buttons. Result?

Pulsating picture during download of large panoramas
If I zoom into this picture on my 27" Mac screen http://www.panoramas.no/H/rovar/Hilleroyzoom/index.html , the picture is pulsating for a several minutes at a rate of maybe 0,5 second until it eventually stops. I assume this has to do with the Mac being busy downloading tiles. Is it possible to...

Bending horizon on Gigapix panoramas
As I could no longer wait for a way to save a larger than 4Gb psb-file to tiff, I downsized it to just below 4Gb and made pano from the resulting tiff-file. Of course I lost a lot of detail doing this. See the pano here http://www.panoramas.no/H/rovar/Hilleroyzoom/index.html It is assembled from 600...

Re: Gigapixel images: How to
One hour to take the photo would be a no go (it's not mentioned on their webpage however Maybe you could have made the kind of pictures inside the bookstores using an ordinary panohead. 10-20 pictures would probably be sufficient. The Epic or equivalent is necessary when you shoot hundreds of pictu...

Re: Gigapixel images: How to
If you buy the Epic 100 you do also get an application which works fine for making the panoramas. You also get to upload the panos to Gigapans web-site for free, providing it is for non-commercial use. So there is no need for PtGui, but maybe it has advantages that I do not know of. For gigapans you...

Re: Saving 9Gb file in jpeg or bigtiff?
I just downloaded the Photoshop GS5 update v12.01 (nov.14th), but sadly enough, the problem persists. Are you making any progress on the BigTIFF solution, Thomas?

Wow, that is impressive support, Thomas! Thank you. It is nice to know that both you and Adobe are working to find solutions.

Re: Saving 9Gb file in jpeg or bigtiff?
Thank you, but saving a 10Gb psb-file to tiff in Photoshop CS4 64-bit (Mac) is eventually stopped by this message: «Could not save as "filename.tif" because this file exceeded the 4Gb limit for TIFF files». I tried Graphic Converter, but it has an upper limit for opening files at 2Gb. Any ...
