Re: Placeholder it doesn't work
I think there is still a bug in Pano2VR 3b4 for fallback flash panos. When choosing a flash file that is stored in a sub directory of the project folder then the "/" character that indicates the subdirectory in the path is translated as "%2f" in the HTML file. F.i, if the path to...

Hello Robert,Robert Harshman wrote:.....There is some type of issue with FOV and iPhones, at least on a 3Gs......
On iPad your tour shows fine and there are no issues in both screen orientations.
When stopping auto rotation Safari crashes but this is a known issue with iOS 4.2.

Re: Pano2VR 3 b4 issue with HTML5 pano and template for iDev
Hello Martin,
Thanks for your reply but i am a bit confused what it has to do with the vertical FoV issue, do I miss something?
BTW, I made a mistake in my posting, with the "normal.ggt" template it is possible to use multi-res but then the output isn't fullscreen.

Pano2VR 3 b4 issue with HTML5 pano and template for iDevices
I like to know if it is a feature, a limitation or just a plain bug but when outputting a HTML5/CSS3 pano with the HTML template "fullscreen_iDevices_swf-fallback.ggt" I get a very small and deformed minipano at the left upper corner of the browsers window with all other settings then &quo...

Re: Pulsating picture during download of large panoramas
On my macbookpro it works like a charm.
Because it also happens on Smooth's PC so it could be related to Flash.
Installing the latest Flash perhaps can solve the issue,

Re: HTML5 ? Webkit-CSS3 ? HTML5/CSS3 ?
Hello Thomas, ...As HTML5 and CSS3 are linked together, and JavaScript makes it all work maybe "HTML5 based, CSS3 3D transformation player using JavaScript" would be a more correct term but as buzz word, specially as in Apples "Flash vs. HTML5" fight "HTML5" is in my ey...

Re: Fullscreen issue with Safari 5.03 for OSX
UPDATE:
Faster then expected the fullscreen issue is solved.
It turned out to be a Flash issue, after I uninstalled the previous version and then installed the latest Flash 10.2 beta (release November 30 2010) fullscreen is working again:-)

Re: Fullscreen issue with Safari 5.03 for OSX
Hello Martin,

You are right, I just checked it with my MacBook Pro running the same OSX and Safari and on this machine the menubar is not visible.
This proves that something is wrong on my iMac (intel), I have to do some checks to find out what it can be...

Fullscreen issue with Safari 5.03 for OSX (solved)
I noticed that something is changed in Safari 5.03 with OSX 10.6.5, when going fullscreen with a Flash pano the OSX menubar becomes visible. In previous versions of Safari this was not the case. In FireFox fullscreen shows as expected. Is there a workaround for this annoying behaviour of Safari ? Wim

HTML5 ? Webkit-CSS3 ? HTML5/CSS3 ?
@ Thomas, There is wide spread in the naming of "HTML5" panos such as created by Pano2VR 3 and PTGui 9. Some call such panos CSS3-Webkit (or Webkit-CSS3) , HTML5 (sometimes with the addition CSS3 and/or Webkit) and you call it HTML5/CSS3 (as stated on the output button of Pano2VR 3) but as...

If so that is good news, it is my favorit setting to make a pano shows fine on a widescreen or normal monitor.

...In Flash Output>Settings> Window>'FoV Mode' what is your setting? ... Hello Judy, For FoV Mode I use "diagonal", on wide screens (f.e.1920x1200) this works better then the other options (Fov is set to 75 degree). ...I was hoping that a small initial download and tiles fed as needed wou...

Comparison of a multi-res <> single-res medium sized pano
Hello Forum, To get the differences between multi-res and single-res medium sized panoramas a bit more clear I made a comparison of both versions. The scene is the WWII cemetery/memorial at Margraten, the Netherlands. This is the multi-res version (200KB, tiles 14,4MB) : http://www.dmmdh.nl/panos/PA...
