Re: cylindrical pano: straight lines turn into waves
Hehe Dave, you sound like my wife ;-) I am doing the stitching for someone else, it's a 14mm lens on a Canon 5d, 6 shots, 1 row. I did not mention this because I didn't think it mattered. As I stated earlier, other pano players don't have this issue with the wavy lines and they also don't show in th...

Re: cylindrical pano: straight lines turn into waves
Thank you for the responses Dave and Hopki, See here the pano in the p2vr html output without the 'no 3d distortion' checked, see here the pano in the p2vr html output with the 'no 3d distortion' checked. It almost looks like the flash 8 pano's we used to have some time ago. I have worked around thi...

cylindrical pano: straight lines turn into waves
I am trying to create an interactive version of a cylindrical panorama, but the flash output of pano2vr adds some weird distortions to the straight lines. http://www.vamos360.com/p2vrwave.jpg It turns out well if created with the flash player of ptgui, and even Easypano's tourweaver does not have th...

Re: HTML5 Flat Panoramics
Flat images do not work in the html5 output. What you can do is to create a (white) image with the same height as the image you want to use, but much wider. And put the image you want to use on top of that. Save the result and open it in pano2vr as cylindrical image, and limit the pan values to the ...

Re: Using FPP & Pano2VR (for iDevices)?
And if you really want to make it complete, you can make a smaller flash tour for Android mobile devices. Put <script type="text/javascript"> if (screen.width < 801) { window.location = "./location.of.your.small.flash.tour.html"; } </script> in the html file that's calling you fl...

Re: Using FPP & Pano2VR (for iDevices)?
I stripped that fallback script somewhat into a simpler one. See here how to implement and to download it.
You can put your FPP tour in the _flash folder and the p2vr html5 version in the _html5 folder.
Later,
Ronald

Re: Publish to Facebook
Hello Gabriel, I will try to answer your questions. 1) You cannot create a custom 'tab' on your personal Facebook page, you'll need to create a 'business' or 'fan' page for that. Than you have to create an 'app', in my case I create an iframe app linking to an experimental wordpress blog. Once you f...

Re: check 'apply all patches' by default.
Tnx, yes, I just found that option to include those parameters in the file name. That's good enough I guess. Even thought I have added this to the bug tracker as a feature request, thinking about it, would you want the default to save the patch to the input image? Sure, why would I create patches if...

check 'apply all patches' by default.
Is it possible to do that? I just lost 2 hours of work -again- because I forgot to click it.
Tnx,
Ronald

Re: Publish to Facebook
Another option, that will only work if you have a business type of page, is to - create a site dedicated to FB stuff on your server - install Wordpress on it - use a Wordpress skin of max 520 px wide - install the panopress plugin (this will present either the flash or html5 version depending on you...

Re: HTML5 fullscreen and fallback to flash
Hey Alois, actually, I removed the doctype part because the one I used was causing troubles in some browsers for some reason, forgot the put another one to serve them all. No idea if it would cause trouble not using it.. That </script> part has to be removed, I deleted several lines from the ggt I u...

Re: HTML5 fullscreen and fallback to flash
Hey Gareth, I managed to combine the fullscreen funtion and the modernizr thingy. You can see and try the result here . It was also an attempt to shoot a pano with my camera on a monopod above my head, so pls no comments about the obvious errors. I know they are there ;-) And that those big fishes a...

ctrl-z (undo) bug in skin editor
After accidentally moving a skin component, I hit ctrl-z to undo that and next thing I know all the buttons in the simplex skin are replaced with the 'pan-up' button. Also one of my custom components is duplicated. See here for a screendump.

Re: Userdata in a hyperlink
Yes, that would be cool. I'm using the copyright and source fields at this moment to fill out the lat/lon position in order to automagically create a marker on a google maps page.

Userdata in a hyperlink
I would like to create a link in a skin, based on the userdata "title" field. So if I fill out 123 in the title field, the link would take me to http://mysite/123/123.html. I used the action 'mouse click' 'go to url' http://mysite/$ut/$ut.html. It works half, since it's taking me to http:/...
