Here is a picture showing the quality before PANO2VR and after. First the equirectangular picture, and second how the panorama shows at a similar size in a browser.

Image

The output is quite a bit softer than the input. I was wondering if this is as good as it gets, or does anyone know how to improve this? The image quality in Pano2VR is set to 95. Any higher isn't feasible as the .swf file size balloons.

Thanks!

I guess it is a common problem.

The perfect solution I found was to NOT go to equirectangular at all.

Stitching straight to CUBIC images. Then in PANO2VR import the cubic and make the flash file. NO quality loss that I can see, perfect.
