Somewhere in my quest for knowledge, I came across this term. I am working on QTVR's and there are a lot of vertical lines in the image (interior of a large theater). i have tried both Pano2QTVR and the New Pano2VR and I cannot eliminate the shimmering vertical lines when the pano rotates. In flash, its worse.

I have tried many different settings. Does anyone know how i can eliminate or reduce the shimmering vertical lines.
any help would be appreciated.

Can be caused by over-sharpening or can be made look a lot better adjusting the default FOV.

Yes, adjusting the FOV to be "zoomed in" or a larger value like "90" until the shimmers are near gone. 90 means 90 degrees angle of view which is said to be normal human eye sight.
