Hi everyone.

Ive been asked to try and re-create the type of V-tour on the link below

http://live.fi-tour.com/avjennings/nsw_willowbrook/sdf/

I'm only just scraping the general way this could be done but as far as i can tell it will involve a lot of actionscript in flash... something i really have no idea about.

Can anyone help me out with a general direction i should take for this? I think so far it would involve shooting the VR and using pano2vr to make the .swf file, which i've done. Then using the script from this link http://gardengnomesoftware.com/wiki/Pano2VR_-_Flash_API to get it into flash. As i said im not that great at flash so im even having problems getting this script to work as im unsure how to point it and my pano.swf file. Any help here would be good. Do i just click on the first frame in flash, then right click and paste it into the actions section?

As to how to link in the VR's to the videos............ well i haven't got that far yet!!

ANY help on what sort of workflow/tools/ or general direction i might take to get this would help at this stage!

On a side note i found this project file ........http://www.flashkit.com/tutorials/Actio ... /more2.php which is ALOMST what i need to get, although its a bit tacky and doesn't link into videos between sections.

So i hope someone can give me a bit of help. At the moment i'm deep into reading about action script and it's confusing the hell out of me!

Cheers

You might want to check into Flashificator. It has a new plugin that enables using video as transitions between nodes.

Hi
Nice link and awsome result.
To replicate 1:1 I think you need some solution real flash solution and should check with developer for that in order to incorporate the swf's @ specific timepoints + to create the respective URL's to other rooms.

An alternative and more simple would be to create a nice template with a map
The intro video can be loaded prior to entering this map then
on the map you can select either show video or show tour with the videos even embedde inside the pano.

Not a 1:1 solution tough I think a cheaper and more versatile solution as you will require the developer for each of those projects you create.

cheers
