The feature not working is costing us considerable time on our projects. With the feature operational it's so quick to geolocate and register north. Now we must use other methods which slow our workflow noticeably. One or two projects here and there is no big deal, but we process up to 25 panos a day.

We need this working soon please!

Hi Guys,
This looks like a Google Map/API bug rather than Pano2VR, it is bug tracked but if the API is broke then not a lot we can do about it.
But this has been going on far too long so I will ask Thomas to revisit this and see if we can do something.
The fear is, we change it and then Google fix it later and it all brakes again, been down this road before.
Regards,
Hopki

I think this is very likely a Google bug as the 360Cities interface for editing uploaded panoramas is missing the same controls.

I think too, this is a google bug. At the google pages of businesses, they dont show the "see inside" link, the most of the time. So is at google maps.

On the other hand it would be marvelous if we had an alternative to "pick landmark" in combination with satellite view. Is there any other method to precise align North?

I think the easiest solution would be released if a quick bugfix-release, with a SATELLITE map view by default,
it is not long to do and will not depend on the any type of chosen view buttons...

Meanwhile, already more than a month
