Aloha,

How can I shorten the render times when working with a HUGE pano tour? Why does the software re-render everything when just a small change is made? I did not see a Generate Files (to uncheck). I do have smart loading selected in the preferences.

Hi Mahalo,
In version 4.5 use multi resolution.
The multi resolution tab has the selection to generate files.
Once you have generated all the tiles you can deselect this to skip this on rebuilds.

Curious... where is the 'generate files' in beta 53e ?
or once I create the project (say 4 panoramas) is it automatic ?

Also looking provide the tour to client for 1 year... is there a 'time out' like in 4.5.3 ?

Hi Dave,
Version 5 time stamps its files, so after the first generation if the times and dates have not changed then the files are not recreated.
If you add a patch then it will regenerate that one pano and not the others if using a multi node project with Pro.
The expire date was for Flash output only, this is in the to do list for version 5 and the HTML5 output but its not that easy as you can use an error consul to access the image folder online.
So will be interesting to see what the dev's will come up with.

I need to regenerate the files of my Gigapan and upload it again, in order to check for the error that only the innermost zoom level is shown in the browser. How do I force it to regenerate?

Delete your recently created /output folder. Create all again.

Reason? Pano2vr automatically creates a new /output if not found.
Or if /output folder found, overwrites the existing /output folder.
