Hi there,
Is it possible to link directly to an external video (mpg2 or other) via a hotspot (I found 'play video' in the actions for point hotspots...)?
And could the video appear inside the current Flash file?
Or do I have to create an html page with the video??
Thanks in advance,
Rona
hotspot to video
Now, I managed to transform my video into another swf-file. But when I link from a panorama swf-file to that video-swf, I can't see see it. It seems to play in the background as I can hear it, but all I see is the panorama (with the point hotspot that was supposed to link to the video disappeared...)
How can I make the video visible??
Regards,
Rona

Have a look at this thread first:

If you can’t get it working I have make a training skin which includes chromless html popup windows.
Here: http://www.hopkimedia.co.uk/GGS/YTV-EIL
Open the link, the street sign to the left has a point hotspot which opens an external popup. The street sign to the right is an area hotspot and opens another external html popup.
The buttons across the bottom:
Most right, opens html popup
Next in opens an in-skin video
Next in opens a large picture so has a loader.
Next to that opens a small picture
The next button changes the size of the in-skin video and pictures.
The last, furthest left is a full screen button.
The problem with embedding/In-skin YouTube or similar is at the moment you can only embed one per tour. However using html popup, you can have as many as you want.

Hi Hopki,
The point hotspot pop-up with the video looks great! Actually I already managed to open a new window via hotspot with a new html page and the video (as .swf) inside - only that the window is not the size of the video but a whole, large and apart from the video (480x270px) almost empty window... (look for example at: http://www.rangsch.de/virtual_tour/pano ... _2row.html)
How can I size the window or is your pop-up solution something completely different?? Can you tell me how you did that?
Best,
Rona
