Object2VR produces interactive 360° object movies. Object VR (virtual reality) movies are the result of a series of images
taken of a subject from multiple angles and positions. To create an object movie, simply import an image series
(a single row or multiple rows) and then export the movie as Flash, HTML5 and QuickTime VR formats to display on websites,
kiosks and mobile devices.
Fully customize the movie’s user interface.
Use hotspots to quickly add user interactivity.
Multiple view states that let the user seamlessly switch between image sets that reveal variations of the object.
Support for multiple resolutions for faster loading times and higher quality images.
Object2VR lets you create single or multi-row object images; just drag and drop your source images in.
Supported image formats are JPEG, PNG, TIFF, Photoshop PSD and QuickTime VR files (JPEG as codec).
To display an object in different variants, for example, in different colors, Object2VR lets you add these images as view states.
You can then switch between the image sets displaying the object's options.
In this example, the car’s color can be changed by clicking the corresponding buttons. Each color is represented by a different view state.
The Hotspot Editor lets you add interactivity to your objects, link hotspots to information windows, open websites as well as a host of other actions.
Each hotspot is represented by a different color, making it easy to keep track of the multiple active areas of your object VR.
The Skin Editor allows you to design your own look and feel for your object player. You can add your own buttons and graphics to match your customer's website offering them a more custom-made product.
You can also add animations and sound effects to your skin to help the user interact with your object images.
If you would rather not design your own skin you can use one of the preloaded skins that come with Object2VR or download skins from third parties. You may also choose one from our user designed skins forum.
Object2VR exports the object movie and all its graphical elements as a single SWF. This allows greater control over the download behavior and makes it easier to distribute to clients, add it to content management systems or post on a blog.
Object2VR can export to QuickTime VR, with selectable direction auto play, speed and delay, user data, protection flag, and a preview track.
The HTML5 output allows playback of the object movie including hotspots and skin on devices and browsers that do not support Flash, like Apple's handheld devices.
Protect your client's object movie by locking them to their domain. This helps to prevent unauthorized use by third party websites.
