Setting up the Text Box
- Open the Skin Editor, locate the text box you created (see: Creating a Floating Tooltip), and then double-click it to open the Text Element Properties.
- In the Settings tab, enter an asterisk (*) in the Hotspot Proxy ID field.
- Now click the Actions/Modifiers tab and add the following actions:
Now, when the mouse pointer enters an area or point hotspot, the wild card, * , in the Hotspot Proxy ID, will activate the actions in the text box and will cause the text box to show, while the $hs placeholder will display the hotspot's title.
