Hotspots

Edit cube faces as horizontal cross: Enable this to have Pano2VR edit cube faces as a horizontal cross.

Ignore size limit: Select this option to remove the warning that pops up when more than 40,000,000 pixels have been detected within the Area Hotspot editor. When there is sufficient RAM, you may deselect this option. (enabled by default)

Patch: When this option is enabled, Pano2VR will ammend the position of the patch to the file name.

Drag and Drop

If you choose to have a Pano2VR desktop shortcut or alias, you can simply drag your QTVR movie onto the icon and Pano2VR will immediately covert the movie to a Flash 9 movie when Covert QTVR to Flash immediately is enabled. All data including default view, hotspots and user data are taken from the QTVR file.

Directories

This section provides directory information. Click Choose to change the directory location.

Skin Directory: This shows where the Skins are located.

Template Directory: This shows where the HTML Templates are located.

Image Cache Location: This is where temporary files are stored during processing.

Integrated Web Server

Open HTML Output: Select this option to enable the integrated web server for testing images locally.

Network access: Keep this selected to ensure that the web server is using the current local host. When not selected other devices and machines connected to the same network can also view the output.

Port: Choose your desired port or leave it at auto. The server will use a new port number every time it is restarted or the program is opened. A fixed port number can also be used making it possible to bookmark the page. We suggest using ports 8000 or 8080. For more information on port numbers please see w:List of TCP and UDP port numbers.

Images

Interpolation Filter: Select the filter that is used for remapping operations. The different filters can sharpen or blur the image.

Current interpolation filters

Dynamic Kernel/Anti Aliasing: This option is selected by default, allowing for anti-aliased results using a dynamic kernel. This allows for sampling in more than one area of the image. More on anti-aliasing filters

Preview Tile Size: OpenGL tile size of the preview window. This option allows you to change the resolution for the preview in the viewing parameters window. A higher resolution may slow down the interaction. The optimal value highly depends on the available memory on your graphics card.

Preview Equirectangular Size: same as above, but for equirectangular panoramas.

Save Preview Image: Select this to save a preview image of the panorama on output.

Memory Size Hint: Set this to limit the amount of memory Pano2VR will use.

Flash 9: Select Ignore maximum image size to lift Flash's image size limit of 2880 pixel width.

Skin Editor: Select Undo enabled so you can undo an action in the Skin Editor.

Experimental: If this option is selected, Pano2VR will only load from the image what is necessary. If there is a preview image available, then loading will be almost instantaneous. Works with TIFF and PSB/PSD files only.
