Nexus Android: run VR from tablet memory?

I have copied my VR website into the Nexus memory, and can see it using the File Manager app. However, I can't get the index.html page to run in Chrome or Firefox properly.

Does anyone know of a way to run an Obj2VR website from tablet memory?

Thanks

HI,
Just waiting for my Nexus 7 to charge, but I have done this in the past.
As soon as its up and running I post what I did, I think I installed an app that shows folders, then transferred to output folder it it. All you have to do then is open the output folder and open the HTML page.

Thanks.

I can open the index.html file in several of those File Managers, but none of them offer Chrome as an App. If I try to open it in other browsers, it doesn’t work at all, or most graphics are missing....

Either I figured this out, or updates have enabled this now:

1. Get Android app "File Manager HD" by Rhythm software (other file managers might work, I don't know)
https://play.google.com/store/apps/deta ... soft.fm.hd

2. Make sure you have Android Firefox v24.0 or later (might be beta. Earlier versions may work)

3. Use your "Android File Transfer App" on your Mac or PC (you may need to get one) to load your website's folder into the top level of folders on the Android tablet via USB cable etc

4. When you run File Manager HD on your Android device, you will see your website folder. Open it and touch "index.html" or whatever start file you use. Choose to run the file in Firefox.

NOTE: This works for me now but did not work a few weeks ago.

I also recommend the Firefox Add-on "Full Screen Mobile"
https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/androi ... en-252573/

which allows full-screen running of websites. This works now as well.
