GoodReader (one word, it says)

I have my new Obj2VR tour running via GoodReader without Wifi etc - EXCELLENT! What an App!

Question:

Right now my Obj2VR has other pages which load according to the current device: Windows/Mac browser, iPad, iPhone and Android tablet (some of them).

The mobile devices load lower-resolution movies because they assume you are burning mobile data to show the movies - however - it might be nice to default to the higher-res versions when run from GoodReader...

Any ideas?

Did you solve the problem in your post?

Could you share with me the recipe for using Object2vr for iPad local use (no wifi)? I tried opening a Safari web archive file in Goodreader and it fails with an xml error. What are the details for the file you are copying to Goodreader?

Thanks.

Simple

1. You get your whole website into a folder, complete.
2. Zip it
3. Go to iTunes, your iPad/iPhone, Apps tab. At the bottom you will select GoodReader and then see an area for its Documents.
4. Drag that zip file into the "Documents" area for GoodReader.
5. Sync your iPad/iPhone etc.
6. Go into the GoodReader app on your iPad/iPhone to the "My Documents" window.
7. Unzip the zipped file you see there. This will show you the folder with your website inside.
8. Run the index.html etc
